The Final Four began on Saturday, April 1st, with FAU vs. San Diego St. FAU was up at half by seven points. FAU went on to increase their lead to 14 points over San Diego St at the beginning of the second half. But as the second half developed, FAU could not make their shots and San Diego on the other hand was making their shots. With 15 minutes left in the second half, FAU was up, 54-40. San Diego St. kept shrinking the lead but was never able to catch up fully. Until Lemont Butler, San Diego St's point guard. took a shot with 0.7 seconds left in the game. This basket won San Diego St. the game, making it their first 'lead' since the first half, and lead them to the NCAA Finals game.

That same day, UCONN and Miami played one another. UCONN beat Miami by 13 points with a final score of 72-59. Throughout every NCAA game, UCONN played, they won by double-digits. This goes for UCONN vs San Diego St in the finals this Monday, April 3rd. With 14:37 minutes left in the first, the score was tied 10-10, the score was never that close again, and San Diego St. never took a lead the rest of the game. The closest the game became was with five minutes left and a score of  60-56, UCONN. UCONN was then crowned the NCAA 2023 Champions, making this their fifth national championship.
