Upcoming Concerts in Boston

Image

If you have not already been to a concert of any type, you’re missing out. Tours allow you to see your favorite artists in the flesh, interact with them, enjoy the choreography and lights, and most importantly the live music. Luckily for you, Boston is one of the most well-known cities in the USA so we get good traction for bands to add us to their city list.

Boston hosts many iconic venues. Only some of them are Fenway Park (the holy grail), TD Garden, House of Blues, MGM Music Hall at Fenway, Leader Bank Pavilion, and much more.

Here are some upcoming concerts in Boston throughout the months of September and October.

Pop

Tove Lo

You may or may not remember this icon. She ruled the 2010s! As “Sweden's darkest pop export” (Rolling Stones) she released hit after hit. But she isn't gone, just last year she released her album Dirt Femme last year.

She will be performing at the new Roadrunner venue on September 12th.

Tate McRae

Miss McRae received heavy recognition during the pandemic for her song “You Broke Me First”. Since then, she has been traveling the US performing at award shows and even opening for Shawn Mendes’ Wonder Tour! You’re bound to get a great performance since she first joined the industry through the show So You Think You Can Dance.

She will be performing at the classic Citizens House of Blues Boston on September 16th.

Raye

Although Raye has been a pop icon for more than a decade, she recently went overly-viral on social media last year for her song “Escapism”. She toured to Boston last year but she’s making a comeback! You’ll hear her older pop songs up to her recent transformation into R&B!

She will be performing at the House of Blues on October 4th.

Latin

Karol G

Karol G is the 30th most listened to artist in the world, one of the biggest artists visiting Boston this year. She is from Colombia and specializes in reggaeton and Latin trap. She has already released two full-size albums this year so she has a large selection of great songs to fill up a great night.

She will be headlining at Gillette Stadium, home of the Patriots, on September 28th!

Maluma

Also a Colombian reggaeton artist, Maluma has been releasing music since he was sixteen years old. He became famous in 2012 through his song “Magic”. Boston will be his 9th last stop of the Don Juan world tour US leg. He kicked off the tour only a week ago in Sacramento, California.

He will be performing at the relatively unknown Agganis Arena on October 15th

Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, and Ricky Martin

Pitbull has been touring consistently since the pandemic came to an end! He last visited Boston two years ago in August at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, another great venue. He puts on a party! But this time Enrique Iglesias (Spain) and Ricky Martin (Puerto Rico) will be joining the iconic Mr. 305. It is bound to be a party! Although tickets are quite expensive, waiting until the day of is how to get the cheapest seats.

They will be taking over TD Garden on October 21st.

Rock

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is easily one of the best rockstars of all time. He is a London punk rocker who started out in a band called Generation X. Billy is known for his three biggest hits, “Rebel Yell”, “White Wedding”, and “Eyes Without a Face”. Although he hasn’t reached retirement just yet, we’ll never know when his last tour will be so now is a great time to go.

He will be performing at MGM Music Hall at Fenway (my personal favorite venue) on September 9th.

Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks

Another iconic Billy, the “Piano Man” will be singing his famous rock ballads on his last tour. The multi-grammy winner is from the Bronx and has released 121 songs since 1973. Joining him is icon Stevie Nicks known for her biggest hit “Edge of Seventeen” (1981). Regardless of her age, her voice is still as strong as ever and you’ll be able to hear some great classics in person.

They will be filling up Gillette Stadium on September 23rd.

Måneskin

The 2021 Eurovision (the biggest song competition in the world) winners are returning to Boston. They were just here ten months at MGM Music Hall where they put on an amazing show. They played their biggest songs, including their winning song “ZITTI E BUONI”. It is impossible not to be entertained by these four modern rockers.

They will be performing at TD Garden on September 25th.
